GR GOLD BASKETBALL CLINIC: Our friends from the Grand Rapids Gold will be hosting a free basketball clinic at the Kroc on Thursday from 5:30-7:00pm. This clinic will be held on the outdoor basketball courts and moved indoors in the event of inclement weather. Registration for this event is full and we are not taking additional registrations (in case we get phone calls or questions from members).
FAME IS RETURNING: We are excited to have students from Brookside Elementary back in the building for our FAME program (Fine Arts, Music, and Expression). 3rd and 4th graders will be here from 12:45-2:45pm on Tuesdays to rotate through rhythm, ballet, and art activities. They will be using the WPAC, Fireside C, and the Art Room. Be sure to welcome them back to the Kroc!
FALL 2 PROGAMS: Registration for the Fall 2 program session will open on Monday at the Welcome Desk and online at GrKrocCenter.org. Be sure to check out all the great programs we are offering!
BATHROOM CHECKLISTS: This is a friendly reminder that ALL staff members should be paying attention to the maintenance checklists in our restrooms. It only takes a few extra seconds to look around for any issues and initial the checklist when you use the restroom; while some departments have been assigned responsibility for certain areas, that does not prevent anyone from helping out. Old or blank checklists communicate to our members that we aren’t keeping up with our Customer Service Key #4 – Appearance. Thank you!
MONSTER MASH: Halloween will be here soon and we’re getting excited for the return of our annual Monster Mash event, scheduled for Friday, October 28 from 5–7 PM.
