MONSTER MASH: There’s still time! Businesses and organizations can still sign up to hand out candy and materials at this Friday’s Monster Mash event from 5 to 7 pm. Please contact Jon Shaner for a sponsorship form.
NEW SCHEDULES: This is the last week of the current drop-in recreation schedule, and a make-up week for roster programs. Martial arts programs and some fine arts programs will be running this week. Times that had been reserved to make up aquatics programs will be replaced by lap swim and/or river walking. A new rec guide will be available soon!
COVID-19 TESTING: From HR Specialist Kristin Hoin…
“Free and fast COVID testing can be difficult to find at this time. Many places have begun charging an administrative fee that insurance won’t cover, so when you are scheduling a test be sure to ask if there are any charges associated with the test. I know that Mercy Health and Walgreens are both currently charging administrative fees. You can search for testing locations here: https://www.accesskent.com/Health/covid-19-testing.htm Meijer and D&W are offering free testing the last I checked. These locations do not show up on the Access Kent website or on their own pharmacy websites. You need to schedule here: www.doineedacovid19test.com The Health Bar offers walk in testing that is also free last I checked: www.healthbar.com You can also call 888-535-6136 #2 to obtain information about testing locations. Please remember to notify your supervisor and/or me if you are symptomatic or have had a COVID exposure for guidelines on how to follow up. You can also contact me at any time with questions.”
PROGRAM REGISTRATION DEADLINE: This Tuesday, October 26, is the program registration deadline for the Fall 2 session that starts next week.
