CAMP KROC ITEMS NEEDED: The Camp Kroc team is in need of the following items for art projects, if you are able to bring them in… Newspapers for the week of July 24, and recycled cardboard (boxes, paper towel/TP tubes, etc.) for the week of July 31. Thanks for your help!
KROC KREW BBQ DATES: Mark your calendar for our upcoming Backyard BBQs on July 20 and August 17! All Backyard BBQs will take place from 12-1pm under the fitness floor balcony. We’ll be sure to save some food for the evening staff as well. Thanks to our friends on the EAT Committee for organizing these summer events!
KROC BLOCK PARTY: We’re just over a month away from the end-of-summer Kroc Block Party! A big part of the fun is having local organizations host tables to introduce our neighbors to their resources. If you know of an organization that would be a good fit for the event, please send contact information to Jon Shane.
KROC-STRUCTION: Progress continues on our renovations to upgrade second-floor restrooms to full locker rooms and reconfigure the lobby. The new membership office area is starting to come together, and we tentatively anticipate the locker rooms will open to the public next week. Watch for more updates soon!
SUMMER 2 PROGRAMS: This is the last week to register for the next session of summer programs. The deadline is Tuesday, July 18th. The Summer 2 Program Guide can be found at the Welcome Desk and online here.
OPEN POSITIONS: Visit the Central Territory’s ADP Recruitment system for all job postings and to submit applications online. We appreciate you sharing opportunities with friends and family! Current openings include: Lifeguard; Child Watch Attendant; Welcome Desk Attendant.
Send an email to RJ Kroc if you see someone going above and beyond for our guests! Here are some examples observed recently:
- The Welcome Desk team has been very flexible while adjusting to the new Welcome Desk and lobby construction.
- Rachel and Byron have been covering extra shifts in the fitness department when their co-workers have been out sick.
- Aaron has also being doing a great job on the fitness floor, especially on the weekends.
- Alyson wants to thank everyone from other departments who have offered to help with day camp. She appreciates the support!
