Camp Kroc Staff Pricing: We are excited to announce that Kroc staff members will receive special pricing for Camp Kroc 2019!
Pricing for camp is $85 dollars per week for Camp Kroc (extended care is included for no extra charge). To register, please complete a registration form and return to the Welcome Desk to register. Staff must register in person Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm. Unfortunately, staff are unable to register for camp outside of these times or online. Payment is due at the time of registration. Also, on the registration form please be sure to indicate the exact dates you plan to attend and if you will be using extended care. Finally, please make special note that due to capacity issues, we are unable to reserve spots for staff children if payment has not been made.

New Kroc Hats Available: We now have some very nice Kroc Center baseball caps for sale for members and staff at the Welcome Desk. They are $25 each (plus sales tax), and the net proceeds will go toward our Salvation Army World Services goal. Also, if you were wondering, this hat MAY be worn as part of your on-shift uniform (– but only THIS hat!)
Father’s Day at the Kroc: Similar to the Mother’s Day event we held on May 11, we’re giving families an easy and fun way to spend time together just before the Father’s Day holiday on Saturday, June 15 from 1-6pm. The event is FREE for Kroc members and includes all recreation access plus a pizza dinner. Pool & Play Pass holders can attend for $5 per person, and non-members are $10 per person. World’s Largest Swim Lesson: Join the Kroc Center, along with aquatics facilities around the world, for this FREE one-hour introduction to water safety and skills. We’ll hold the event on Thursday, June 20 at 11am. Registration in advance is required. Find details and a link to register on the Events page at GrKrocCenter.org.
Upcoming Kroc Krew events: Please mark Sunday, July 14 at 5 PM on your calendar for the Kroc Krew Summer Family Picnic. Information is posted in each department about this fun event. We’ll also be holding staff cookouts in the maintenance building on the following Thursdays this summer from 12-1 PM: June 20; July 18; and, August 15.

- “Kevin Chilton helping a mom in the parking lot who was struggling with her children after he had punched out and was heading out to the bus.”
- “Aquatics staff led by Patrice did a great job with the surprise Red Cross audit. Several guards stayed after their scheduled shift to help with the live rescue and CPR testing so we could keep the pool open and continue the rotations.”
- “Josue helped an upset mom sign her kids up for the entire summer of camp including before and after care with a scholarship. This was a 72 item transaction so it took a while (the kiosk crashing didn’t help either), but Josue was patient and kept the mom comfortable during the process.”
