We’re wrapping up the Summer 1 programs this week. Thank you to everyone who has helped make it a success!
AYSO Updates
- AYSO is just around the corner, and we are seeing a flood of registrations.
- Sammie will be taking the lead moving forward. Please direct any AYSO-related questions to him.
- To prepare for the upcoming season, there will be a Super Camp on Friday. Albert is already familiar with the set-ups, and the group is willing to work around the camp items in Fireside.
2️⃣ Program Updates
- Summer 1 programs – Week 7 (make-up week)
- Summer 2 program ends Wednesday.
- Camp Kroc Week 7.
- Swim Camp: Pool closes 10 AM–12 PM this week (except Friday; Wednesday water exercise make-up).

- Fit Kids on the Move: Tuesday–Wednesday, East Field, 6:30–7:30 PM.
- AYSO Super Camp: Saturday, Classroom C/D, Music A/B, Fireside, and Fields, 7 AM–5 PM.
Rentals
- LOBOS/Alliance Field Rental: Saturday, 4–8:30 PM.
- LOBOS/Alliance Field Rental: Sunday, 12–6 PM.

Let the Truth be the Truth
2 Timothy 4:1-5
Timothy was a student of the great Apostle Paul. He partnered in ministry with Paul for a period until he was released by Paul from ministering with him and given this discharge as he departed from Paul’s company to go out on his own.
This same discharge that was given by Paul to Timothy applies to you and me today. We are called by God to be prepared to share the Gospel truth and commanded to hold one another accountable in keeping the Word of God preserved and undistorted by our own opinions and versions.
We are all ministers of the Gospel to one degree or another, and when we share God’s Word, we must let the truth be the truth. We cannot distort it to make people feel better or to make them feel like they belong. Let the Word of God do what it is meant to do on its own—transform lives and lead people into an eternal life with God.
