Kroc Block Party – Friday, August 15, 5:30–8:30 PM
Join us for a night of community celebration at the Kroc Block Party! This fun, free evening includes games, activities, food, and a movie outdoors at sundown.
🎬 Around 8:45 PM, we’ll show Sing in the amphitheater. (Due to licensing restrictions, we can’t advertise the movie title — but you can share it if asked.)
Whether you’re working the event or not, all staff are invited to attend and enjoy the festivities. Come join us and bring your family to celebrate another great Kroc summer!

Walking In God’s Light
1 John 1:1–10
Walking in the light of God is so much more than just being assured that we are on the right path as Christians and that the love of Christ is in us touching the lives of those around us. Walking in the light of God gives believers access to the ability to live a life free from darkness, rooted in the righteousness of Christ that is bestowed upon individuals as they receive Him in their hearts as their personal Savior.
1 John 1:1–10 gives a clear outline of the precious gift we inherit when we choose to become part of God’s family. It is made clear from the beginning that Jesus was with God and through Him we have fellowship with the Father. Because we are part of this family, we also receive the gift of forgiveness from our sin and are cleansed from all unrighteousness.
Knowing that Jesus is the light of the world and choosing to follow Him in our lives not only keeps us on the right path, it keeps us from falling further into sin. By having the light of the world alive in us as the Holy Spirit, we can stay the course knowing that as we walk in the light, Christ is right there with us. The Spirit is compelling us to stay the course—avoiding the darkness and living in the confidence of a righteous life that can only come from Christ in us.
