✝️ Note from the Pastor
Surrendering Your All to God
Romans 12:1–2
In Romans 12:1–2, Paul urges believers to present their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is our true and proper worship. He warns us not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we can discern God’s will—His good, pleasing, and perfect will. In these verses, Paul lays out a clear framework for the life of a disciple: complete devotion to God in every thought, word, and action.
Surrendering to God is not partial, hesitant, or conditional—it is total and unconditional. The imagery of a “living sacrifice” tells us that following Christ is not about fitting God into our plans, but offering ourselves fully for His purposes. Transformation happens when we release our grip on worldly values and let God reshape our desires, priorities, and identity. True surrender is not a loss—it’s an exchange of our limited ways for His eternal purposes.
Today, God is calling you to place every area of your life on the altar: your dreams, your plans, your relationships, and your future. Will you trust Him enough to surrender without reservation? When you give Him your all, He will guide you into the fullness of His will, where peace, purpose, and joy overflow. Let this be the day you choose not just to believe in Christ, but to wholly live for Him.
