✝️ Note from the Pastor

Finding Rest in God
Matthew 11:28–29
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

As we go through seasons of busyness, change, or even weariness, Jesus reminds us that true rest is found in Him. The burdens of this world can feel heavy, but when we surrender them to Christ, He carries them with us. His rest is not just physical—it’s a deep peace that reaches the soul.

This week, in the midst of shutdown projects and preparations for fall, let us remember to pause, lean on Jesus, and allow Him to refresh us with His presence. Rest in Him, and find new strength for the days ahead.

🙏 Prayer Requests

Please pray for Julie Johnston, daughter of Lt. Colonels Jim and Janice Nauta. Julie has been re-admitted to the ICU with critical lung issues and is currently intubated. Pray for healing, wisdom for her doctors, and peace for Julie and her family during this time.
