✝️ Note from the Pastor
It’s A New Year! Are You Ready For A New You? — Romans 6:11–14
Every year we celebrate the incoming new year with friends and family. We make plans to gather and have a party, go to see a movie, visit friends and family, or like many of us, do our best to stay up long enough to see the ball drop in Times Square, kiss a loved one to usher in the new year, and rush off to bed. Many of us make a commitment to swear something off, to stop practicing a bad habit, to change our eating habits, begin to work out, and many more New Year’s resolutions. All of these are done in the hopes of living a better life in the new year and making ourselves feel better. The best resolution that we can make in this new year is to stop living in our willful sin. If you truly want to live a better life and feel better about yourself, then make the decision to turn from your sin and surrender your life to Christ. The change you desire can only come from God alone, and He is waiting for you to choose your new life in Him today.
