🙌 Missional Moment

Put My Name on It
Numbers 6:22–27

God’s blessing was never intended to stop with those who recieve it. When the Lord placed His name upon Israel, He set them apart to reflect His character to the nations around them. Today, as followers of Christ, we have that same opportunity to become living expressions of His love, grace, and peace in a world desperately searching for hope.

Your missional challenge this week: Be intentional about placing God’s name on your actions by becoming a blessing to someone else. Reach out to someone who is discouraged, offer a word of encouragement, extend forgiveness, or meet a practical need without expecting anything in return. Before you leave each morning, pray, “Lord, let my life reflect Your name today. Use me to bring Your blessing to someone who needs to experience Your love.”

Remember, we do not simply receive God’s vlessing; we are called to become a blessing! When others encounter us, may they experience the kindness, compassion, and peace of the One whose name we proudly bear.

✝️ Note from the Pastor

Put My Name on It
Numbers 6:22–27

In Numbers 6:22–
27, God instructed Moses to tell Aaron and his sons to speak a blessing over the people of Israel. This blessing was more than a prayer for protection, favor, and peace; it was a declaration that God’s presence would remain with His people. The Lord concluded with a powerful promise: “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them” (Numbers 6:27). God wanted His people to know that they belonged to Him, were covered by His grace, and carried His name wherever they went.

What a beautiful reminder that God’s blessing is not simply about what He gives us, but about whose we are! When God places His name upon us, He identifies us as His own. His name represents His character, faithfulness, holiness, and unfailing love. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to live in a way that reflects the One whose name we bear. We do not earn His blessing through our goodness; rather, His grace transforms us and calls us to a life of holiness, obedience, and faithful service.

This week, remember that you carry something far greater than a title, reputation, or earthly identity. You carry the name of the Lord! Let His love me evident in you conversations, His grace in your relationships, and His peace in your circumstances. Wherever God leads you, be intentional about representing Him well. May others recognize His presence through the way you live, love, and serve. When God puts His name on our lives, we have the privilege and responsibility of making His name known!
