GR Drive Basketball Clinic: The first youth clinic of the season with the Grand Rapids Drive is coming up on Monday, November 12 from 6-7:30pm. It’s Almost Kettle Season! The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign kicks off on Friday, November 9. The Kroc Center is responsible for managing all Kent County south of 28th Street, and it’s important that we get as many volunteers signed up to ring as possible. Please consider giving two hours to take a shift; it’s also a great activity for kids and families to help share more than gifts at Christmas. Online signup will be available soon!
Send an email to RJ Kroc if you see someone going above and beyond for our guests! Here are some examples from this week:
- A staff member asked to recognize a couple of coworkers:
- “Kayleigh from the art room has gone above and beyond helping with Meetup Mondays & RJ’s After School Academy helping to get their clay fired. She was also willing to make things work out even when we had a snag in the scheduling of a room!”
- “Amy @ the front desk… she always is very welcoming & has a smile on her face, which makes for a great day for everyone there!”
