New Year’s Membership Specials: In addition to our usual $0 registration offer that has been going through December and will continue for January, we are adding a brand-new promotion for membership next month! As part of our “Year of You” campaign, all new members can get six months of membership for the price of five when paying in advance. That means half a year of membership for a single adult would be $190, or a full year only $380!
Christmas Break Day Camp: From the desk of Camp Kroc supervisor Jessica Pollins:
“There will be three days of day camp each of the two weeks of Christmas Break — Dec. 26-28 and Jan. 2-4. Each week is $75 for members, $90 for non-members; or, pay by the day ($26 members, $38 non-members). We will also be offering a special discount for staff of $17 per day per child. Be sure to register by December 21 at the welcome desk.

Les Mills is coming: January will also see us launch Les Mills branded fitness classes on a broader basis (we have done some demo classes already, with great feedback!). The classes will be done with live instructors in some instances, with other classes being offered “virtually” on a new projector installed in Studio B. This will allow us to greatly expand the number and variety of classes we provide our members. It has been a lot of work for the whole fitness department, so be sure to help them spread the word!
From General Manager Bram Roberts: As a special Christmas treat, any current Kroc Krew member that would like to try one of the following Winter I classes may do so for FREE!!!! If you are interested, please fill out a program enrollment form (attached) and submit to me (or Tabi – program assistant) no later than Thursday, January 3. Please note that limited spots are available and are first come, first served. All classes begin the week of Sunday, January 6.

- Lots of smiling faces coming in for The Brookside Christmas Concert. Kudos to the people responsible for having Brookside use our facility.
- Davon Boone was able to cover when the gym supervisor had a family emergency.
- Welcome Desk team led by Joselyn Bykerk does a great job welcoming new members to the Kroc Center. Josh Lubbers gave a tour and was shadowed by new Welcome Desk attendant Cathleen.
- Cheryl Floyd, as usual, was killing it on the fitness floor.
- More thanks to Davon Boone who was on top of it when a patron was injured during basketball. He made it a priority to check on the guest throughout the rest of the day.
- Compliment from a guest on how clean our facility is, especially during this time of the year.
- An honorary Facilities Badge goes to Julie Taggart, Heather Morrison, Danielle Ashford, Allyson Rodriguez, and Jon Shaner for cleaning up the WPAC after Cookies with Santa and flipping the room for church.
