This is the last week of our “summer” schedule. Please make sure to remind guests that the new drop-in recreation schedules start next Monday the 28th, with the biggest changes coming in the Aquatics Center.
Also, please note some times that outdoor basketball and volleyball courts will be closed for private events… these are posted at the Welcome Desk, on our website, and outside the basketball court entrance. [Not to mention, special hours for Labor Day, followed by our maintenance week closure!]
Don’t forget to join your fellow Kroc Krew members for our final Backyard BBQ this Thursday! We’ll have the usual hot dogs, chips, and sides!
Also, if the weather is nice we will have the slip & slide open, so bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet!

As families get back into school mode, they’ll likely be thinking more about fall activities. Please help spread the word about the special discounts and promotions for many of the programs listed in the Fall Program Guide. Most swim lessons are only $26 for kids who are on family memberships and sign up before the Early Bird deadline (Sept. 5)!
Fall soccer season is getting closer. The Kroc Center’s AYSO program is still accepting late player registrations for kids ages 3-9. Visit the regional website to sign up. We also are in need of volunteers to help as coaches/assistants and referees. The time commitment is only 1-2 hours a week, and all training is provided. If you are interested, please speak with Bram Roberts or Jon Shaner.

Lifeguards Uriel Barrera-Juarez and Nick Canales both received recognition this week for performing rescues in the pool. Aquatics Manager Jessica Viau said, “Uriel and Nick are two of our youngest lifeguards, and they are both awesome!”
