Sex trafficking is happening right now in Grand Rapids. You can learn more about this issue and find out how to respond when you see the warning signs. The City of Grand Rapids will be screening “Break the Chain,” a Michigan-based documentary on human trafficking. Join us to view warning sign videos, a spoken word performance, the film screening and a community expert panel. The program starts at 6 PM on Tuesday, January 23rd in the Worship and Performing Arts Center.

Kroc Krew Chili Cookoff! Mark Thursday, January 25 on your calendar for our annual homemade chili competition. Bring your own special blend of herbs and spices to share with everyone and win the admiration of all as the Kroc’s 2018 “house chili.” Tasting times will be Noon-1pm and 6-7pm (house chili only). Please email Julie Taggart (julie_taggart@usc.salvationarmy.org) if you would like to enter a chili.
Parking Advisory: Due to our increase in member, program, and event usage on Saturdays this winter, we would like all employees to immediately start parking in the back (East Lot) and not park in the side lot (South Lot) until further notice. This is for Saturdays only.
Meetup Mondays are back! Each Monday through March 26, Church at the Kroc will once again host Meetup Mondays! Enjoy a family-style dinner for $3 per person from 5-6pm, then participate in group activities from 6-7pm. No need to sign up, just come as you are.
Please speak with Lts. Brutto, Dan Leisher, or any member of the Congregational Life team if you have any questions.
