February Membership: Because of the closings last week, we’ve extended our $0 Registration special through the weekend (now expiring February 3) for those who were not able to make it to the Kroc. We’re also extending the ‘6th month free’ deal for new members who pay in advance. Keep encouraging people to sign up!
Retention Time: In case you hadn’t noticed, we have a LOT of new members at the Kroc Center! That means more wear and tear on the building, plus a lot of people who aren’t familiar with our services and guidelines. Did you know that, based on past data, nearly half those new members will cancel in the first six months?
It’s the job of all of us to help KEEP all these members satisfied. Remember to smile, be friendly with our members, and keep in mind that they may not be aware of all our guidelines when asking them to comply. It’s always helpful to think about how you would want to be treated if the roles were reversed.
Keep It Clean: One easy way to make the Kroc Center inviting throughout the winter is to keep it clean! That means: pick up trash wherever you see it; clean the snow and dirt off your shoes before you enter the building; keep your work areas free of clutter. Administrative staff are asked to clean up their cubicles and remove any items on top of cabinets or in walkways.
Kroc Krew, Parlez-vous? In order to provide the best possible customer service to our guests, we want to maintain a list of all the Kroc Krew members who can communicate in another language. Whether it is Spanish, French, American Sign Language, or anything else, please let your supervisor know what skills you have. You never know when it may come in handy!
Winter Programs: Registration for Winter 2 is open… don’t forget that Kroc Center members can take basic swim lessons for as little as $5 per person when signing up before the early bird deadline!
Send an email to RJ Kroc if you see someone going above and beyond for our guests! Here are some examples from the past week:
