Kroc Block Party: Thanks to everyone who helped make last Friday’s Kroc Block Party a success. We estimate between 300-400 people attended, we ran out of hot dogs (!), and received positive coverage from two TV stations.
Maintenance time ahead: Unlike previous years, we will not be closing the entire Kroc Center while we perform cleaning and maintenance. However, be aware that the Aquatics Center will be closed Sept. 3-8; also, the Gymnasium will be closed from August 26–Sept. 15, as we are doing a bigger resurfacing project than normal.
Kroc Krew education discounts: Thinking about taking college classes or working on a new degree? Both Aquinas College and Grace Christian University offer 20% discounts on tuition to our employees. Restrictions apply — please see Kristin Hoin for details.
Fall AYSO: Our fall AYSO league gets back into action the week of Sept. 3! If you would like to help with coaching, refereeing, or anything else, please contact Bram Roberts or Katie Deatherage.
Reminder: Friday, August 30 is an administrative holiday. The Kroc Center is CLOSED on Monday, September 2.
