Maintenance updates: Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to deep clean the Kroc Center over the past couple of weeks! Be sure to check out the new flooring in the Fireside Hall, the new workstations for guests in the lobby, and more. We expect to be able to have the gymnasium open again next week.
Meetup Monday Returns: Kroc Church is celebrating a “Reboot” with a new sermon series, new educational opportunities, and a new season of Meetup Monday! Meetup Monday returns this Monday, September 9 with a low-cost meal and activities for the whole family.
Reminder: Tuesday, September 10 is the final registration deadline for Fall 1 programs. Don’t forget that members can sign up for fine arts classes for only $10!
Toddler Tuesday is coming: Tuesday, September 17 will be our first Toddler Tuesday for the new school year. These activities are free for members; non-members can get one free adult day pass with each paid child day pass ($6.50).
Kids Hope USA: With the new school year underway, Kroc staff and members are needed to mentor kids at Brookside Elementary. The Kids Hope USA program takes only one hour per week to help change the life of a student! See Kayla Welch for more information.

- Jessica Viau’s daughter Aubrey found a camper’s teddy bear that had been left behind in the aquatics center. They took the bear home and Jessica lovingly cleaned it and stitched it up. Aubrey was insistent that the camper get her bear back so phone calls were made. This is the camper’s prayer bear and the owner will be reunited with the bear once again. Thanks, Jessica and Aubrey, for caring about our Kroc Center members and guests!
- Thanks to Lisa VanDyk for picking up a welcome desk attendant whose car broke down on the way to work. Her calm demeanor and willingness to help out is a shining example of radical hospitality!
