SPRING BREAK UPDATE: Here is the final schedule for Spring Break activity rentals. Reminder that all activities are 12:30-2:30pm.

  • Monday: None; Tuesday: WPAC; Wednesday: None; Thursday: None; Friday: WPAC.

WE’RE HIRING: The following positions are currently open for applications on The Salvation Army’s Central Territory jobs site… Campus Attendant, Fitness Attendant, Operations Administrative Assistant. Visit the Work page at GrKrocCenter.org for links, and see Kristin Hoin for more information.

CHANGES TO FACILITY HOURS: Starting in May, the Kroc Center will remain open during the currently closed period of 12-3PM weekdays. We will start by only having the fitness floor available, as we wait and see how many people use the building during that time. This information is OK to share with members.

CAMP KROC REGISTRATION: Registration for summer day camp is open! Families who sign up and pay for all ten weeks of camp before April 30 will receive a special “Season Pass” rate of $100/week for members and $120/week for non-members. Those wishing to take advantage of this offer should contact Patrice Franks directly. Information about registration for children of Kroc employees will be available soon.

REMINDERS OF THE WEEK:

  • SAFETY: With a warm Spring Break week upon us, we’re reviewing guidelines for our outdoor campus. Please take a moment to review how you might handle situations that come up as you are walking around the building or to/from a parking area. What should you do if you notice someone smoking? People using the playground in an unsafe way? Litter on the campus?

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE: This week, we will be talking about customer service key #1 – SAFETY: We strive to provide emotional, mental, physical and spiritual safety for members/staff. This week we will focus on TAKING ACTION to always put safety first!

If you did not get a chance to connect with an Easter worship service, the Kroc Church service is available to stream on the GR Kroc Center Facebook page. He is risen!

CORE VALUE OF THE WEEK: We value all people as children of God. The Kroc Center intentionally strives to reflect and embrace the diverse population we serve.

Send an email to RJ Kroc if you see someone going above and beyond for our guests! Here is a recent example:

  • Lesley Greene prevented a possible injury to a member by being especially attentive to people getting out of the pool.

  • Our fitness team did a great job building relationships by cheering on and congratulating a member who recently completed a 100K (!!!) run. Watch for more information about this amazing journey on the Kroc Refrigerator soon.

Here are some of the upcoming events and groups at the Kroc Center:
