UPCOMING HOLIDAY HOURS: The Kroc Center will close early at 1pm on Saturday, December 24th. We’ll be open normal hours (7am–4pm) on Saturday, December 31st. All other holiday schedules follow our normal hours, including being closed on the Sundays of Christmas Day (December 25th) and New Year’s Day (January 1st). NOTE: Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2 are administrative holidays. Your ADP account may also show Friday, December 30 as a holiday – this was a mistake by THQ and is being corrected; the 30th is a normal work day.
COST-OF-LIVING PAY INCREASES: Recently, our headquarters approved a 2% rate increase for all eligible employees (anyone hired prior to July 1, 2022). This should be reflected in your rate on your pay statement. You will also receive a retroactive payment on the next paycheck back to the start of October. GRAND RAPIDS BALLET EVENT: Our friends from the Grand Rapids Ballet will be here on Thursday for a free introduction to ballet performance from 6-7 PM. Artistic Director James Sofranko will host this interactive one-hour experience appropriate for all ages. Attendees will learn about basic ballet terms and movements, hear from dancers about their journey into the world of professional ballet, and watch short performances from The Nutcracker and other ballets. No tickets are required for this event, but people can RSVP and find more details on the Facebook event here.
