EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS: In order to address staffing needs across the Kroc Center, we’re implementing a new referral program! DAY CAMP UPDATE: Camp Kroc is filling up fast! A couple weeks were recently at capacity, but due to increases in staffing, we were able to increase capacity numbers. If you know anyone who still needs to sign up for camp, encourage them to register ASAP!
SUMMER PROGRAM REGISTRATION: Registration for our summer programs is now open. The Summer 1 session will begin on Monday, June 5. The Summer 1 program guide is now available at the Welcome Desk and online here.
KROC-STRUCTION: The second-floor restrooms remain unavailable as we upgrade them into full locker rooms! Please direct guests to any of the first-floor restrooms, including those on the north side of the lobby or the locker rooms in the main hallway. Also – occasional welding work may generate smoke in and around work areas temporarily. There is no cause for concern when this happens.
EXPUNGEMENT FAIR: We have gotten a number of calls about an event the City of Grand Rapids is holding here on Saturday, May 13. The event is looking to help residents clear eligible criminal convictions from their records with an upcoming expungement fair. The expungement fair will be held from 9am-4pm in Fireside. If you’d like read more about it, the MLive article can be found here. Please inform anyone calling about the event that it is NOT being run by the Kroc Center, but by the City of Grand Rapids – anyone looking for information should go to the City’s website and look for the “Clean Slate” event, or call the city office at 616.456.4672.

- Paul stayed late one day last week to make sure everyone knew how to use the new field lining machine
- Eddie came in to the Kroc Center quickly to shut off water on Sunday when a leak was noticed by the aquatics team
- Albert worked an extremely long day Saturday due to the Innovation Central high school prom late on Saturday evening
- Jim helped significantly with troubleshooting A/V issues in the soundbooth for Kroc Church
- Rachel Olexa received compliments from a member for her customer service, as well as having her effort noted in helping another guest try to find his teenage son
