ADP CHANGES: Our divisional headquarters has informed us that the ADP human resources/payroll system has recently undergone some changes – what you see when you log in to manage your time card, etc. has now changed. The new layout should be reasonably self-explanatory, but if you run into any difficulty using the updated system, please contact Melissa Roemer.
KROC-STRUCTION: Due to some administrative challenges, mainly with city inspectors who are not available to approve our project, the expected opening for the new locker rooms continues to be on hold. The lockers themselves will not be installed until September, so even after opening, guests will need to use the lockers in the hallway near the track entrance. Progress continues on the first-floor membership offices as well.
LABOR DAY CLOSURE: As a reminder, the Kroc Center is closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 4. Because of the maintenance week, Monday programs will not have the opportunity for a make-up week in this session.
MAINTENANCE WEEK SHUTDOWN: As a reminder, the Kroc Center will be closed to the public for our annual maintenance week September 11-17. Communication was already shared as part of an email to members, but we will start posting reminders around the building over the next couple of weeks. As always, we will need extra help in deep-cleaning the Aquatics Center and other areas of the building, so please be watching for communication from your supervisor about projects in your department and the possibility of picking up hours elsewhere as well!
GR GOLD BASKETBALL CLINIC: The Grand Rapids Gold have added a second date to their “Back to Basketball” clinics. The first event is on Friday, September 15 from 6-7:30pm and will feature the assistant coaching staff from the Gold. The second event is on Tuesday, September 19 from 6-7:30pm and will feature Gold coach, former NBA player Andre Miller. These clinics are free to members and non-members (ages 8-14), and registration is open online in Club Automation.

- Among the various green dots delivered at last Friday’s Kroc Block Party, an individual who stopped by the Kroc Church table attended worship Sunday morning!
- Margarita and Claire consoled and helped a member who was having a personal crisis.

Each week, members of the Kroc Center and Kroc Church submit a number of requests for prayer. We welcome these from everyone in our community, and encourage all our Kroc Krew to lift up these requests in your own way. Don’t forget that you are always welcome to attend devotions on Tuesday mornings at 9am (currently in the Music Room); if you have a prayer request to share, you can post it on the board in the lobby, use the online form, or contact a member of the Kroc Church team.
- A number of guests filled out prayer request cards at the Kroc Block Party, asking for God’s intervention with issues like housing, finances, addiction, and world events. Please keep all these people in your prayers!
