CHRISTMAS BREAK SCHEDULES: Because of the increased demand for day passes and member use over the break from school, and the off week for programs, we will be offering some additional activities during the weeks of December 26-30 and January 2-6. We’ve created a special Christmas Break Family Fun Guide that is available around the building and at GrKrocCenter.org to help families understand what activities are available.
EAT COMMITTEE CELEBRATION: This Thursday, December 21, all Kroc Krew members are welcome to wear fun Christmas-related attire (as long as it is appropriate for your role, of course). The EAT Committee will have hot chocolate and cookies available for employees in the membership office from about 10 AM to 6 PM.
BREAKFAST AT THE MANGER: Everyone is invited to join Kroc Church for a special “Breakfast at the Manger” fellowship and worship on Christmas Eve (Sunday, December 24). Fellowship time begins at 9:30am, with the meal starting at 9:45am and the service at 10:00am. Come and celebrate the birth of our Savior!
DAY PASS SALES PROMOTION: Our promotion to sell day pass punch cards as gifts continues through December 24. These punch cards provide users with 12 day passes for the price of 10, a savings of up to $24. To promote the sale of day passes as Christmas gifts, we will also be running a special for people wanting to buy any form of advance day passes – buy 5 passes for future use, get a 6th free. These passes never expire; punch cards will continue to be available beyond the promotion, though the 6-for-5 deal will not. Please see Lisa Van Dyk or Jon Shaner with any questions.
SUNDAY HOURS IN 2024: Starting January 7, 2024, the Kroc Center will be OPEN for general use on Sundays from Noon to 4pm. Initially, only the fitness floor and gymnasium will be available; there will be no pool use, child watch, etc. on Sundays as we wait to see what usage will be like.
OPEN POSITIONS: Visit the Central Territory’s ADP Recruitment system for all job postings and to submit applications online. We appreciate you sharing opportunities with friends and family! Current openings include: Lifeguard; Child Watch Attendant; Music Instructor; Youth Ministry and Mission Specialist

- Major Carol reports that our Welcome Desk team has done a great job in handling some ‘cantankerous’ guests lately.
- Jill and Kevin in Child Watch are also helping to educate parents in dealing with some difficulties with Club Automation registration processes.
- The GVSU internship program in the fitness department has been a great benefit to the Kroc Center and our members overall.

Each week, members of the Kroc Center and Kroc Church submit a number of requests for prayer. We welcome these from everyone in our community, and encourage all our Kroc Krew to lift up these requests in your own way. Don’t forget that you are always welcome to attend devotions on Tuesday mornings at 9am (currently in the Music Room); if you have a prayer request to share, you can post it on the board in the lobby, use the online form, or contact a member of the Kroc Church team.
- Rapid recovery for several Kroc Krew members who are sick.
- For Major Carol’s parents, who are in declining health.
- For the family and friends of a high school senior killed in a car accident on Monday.
