UPCOMING HOLIDAYS: This Thursday, July 4, is a federal holiday and the Kroc Center will be CLOSED. The following day, Friday, July 5, is an administrative holiday –the Kroc Center is open, but there is no Camp Kroc programming that day.
DOUBLE DOG DAYS: Our next summer promotion will start on July 1 and is called “Double Dog Days” (a reference to the ‘dog days’ of summer… we aren’t allowing dogs in the building!) Guests who purchase a day pass during the month of July will receive a coupon for a free pass of the same type (adult/child) to come back during the month of August. Our goal is to boost day pass sales and building utilization during a typically slower time of year. Please see Lisa Van Dyk or Jon Shaner with any questions.
KITCHEN REMINDERS: Because the Kroc Center’s main kitchen is licensed and inspected by the health department, it is important that we are using it only for Kroc programming as intended. Personal food should not be stored or prepared in the kitchen — employee break rooms are designed for that purpose. Also, please help keep the kitchen clean and safe by not using it as a pass-through between hallways.
AYSO TRAINING: We are currently in great need of additional referees for our AYSO soccer program. These referees manage games for kids ages 8-12 and help make sure play is fair, safe, and fun. Some soccer background is preferred; a training and certification course will be held at the Kroc Center on Saturday, July 20. Please contact Jon Shaner if you have questions or are interested.
TIME CARD APPROVAL: At the end of each pay period, it is important that ALL employees are going into their time card in ADP and confirming that their hours are correct. Lately, we have only had about 60-70% of staff doing this. So, after your last shift of the week (prior to July 8 payroll), make sure to do this. Please see Melissa Roemer or your supervisor if you have any questions.
OPEN POSITIONS: Visit the Central Territory’s ADP Recruitment system for all job postings and to submit applications online. We appreciate you sharing opportunities with friends and family! Current openings include: Fitness Attendant, Lifeguard, Youth Ministry and Mission Specialist, Building Supervisor (PT), Child Watch Attendant, Summer Day Camp Counselor (FT), Summer Day Camp Counselor (PT), Personal Trainer.

Each week, members of the Kroc Center and Kroc Church submit a number of requests for prayer. We welcome these from everyone in our community, and encourage all our Kroc Krew to lift up these requests in your own way. Don’t forget that you are always welcome to attend devotions on Tuesday mornings at 9am in the Green Room; if you have a prayer request to share, you can post it on the board in the lobby, use the online form, or contact a member of the Kroc Church team.
- Pray that the young people who attended the ‘5-Day Club’ Vacation Bible School program last week continue to grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ.
