FITNESS MOBILE APP TRANSITION: The custom mobile app we have been using with some of our cardio equipment is being discontinued this month. Users of the “myKroc Wellness” app will need to download and switch to the “Technogym” app, which has most of the same capabilities and features. They should also be able to use the same email address and login on the new app. Please refer any member questions to the fitness department.
OCTOBER FITNESS PROMOTION: Did you know? Each quarter, Les Mills updates its group exercise classes with new music and moves to keep them fresh for participants. The 100th release of the BODYCOMBAT class is coming soon, and we’ll be celebrating during the month of October by “Keeping it 100”! All month long, the fitness team will be offering some special ‘BODYCOMBAT Basics’ classes for people to learn the moves and skills, and weekend bonus classes so more people can take part. And, non-members will be invited to take a BODYCOMBAT class for only $1.00. Please see Margarita Gonzalez for more information.
MONSTER MASH: Our most popular event of the year is slated for Friday, October 25. Monster Mash is when we invite community partners to hand out candy and information to roughly 1,500 guests as they “trunk-or-treat” through the East parking lot. If you know a business or organization who would be interested in participating, please send contact information to Jon Shaner.
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: After the success of our first blood drive in partnership with Versiti, we will be hosting another one on Tuesday, October 29 from 3:00-7:30pm in the Music Room. You can make appointments at: https://donate.michigan.versiti.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/162028. Each person who shows up for their appointment will receive two Kroc day passes for friends or family!
OPEN POSITIONS: Visit the Central Territory’s ADP Recruitment system for all job postings and to submit applications online. We appreciate you sharing opportunities with friends and family! Current openings include: Fitness Attendant, Lifeguard, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor.
Send an email to RJ Kroc if you see someone going above and beyond for our guests!
- AYSO refs did phenomenal for the first games of the season. There were some new, young referees that stepped up and took the lead, creating a great experience for the players.
- Ray has been super helpful and is always available to help staff as well as guests around the facility.
- Aaran powerwashed the patio, and it looks great!
Here are some of the upcoming events and groups at the Kroc Center:

- Safe Haven Ministries – Wednesday, 9am-Noon, WPAC
- East FC – Saturday/Sunday, times vary; soccer fields
Each week, members of the Kroc Center and Kroc Church submit a number of requests for prayer. We welcome these from everyone in our community, and encourage all our Kroc Krew to lift up these requests in your own way. Don’t forget that you are always welcome to attend devotions on Tuesday mornings at 9am in the Green Room; if you have a prayer request to share, you can post it on the board in the lobby, use the online form, or contact a member of the Kroc Church team.
- God, we pray that you will continue to watch over and sustain our members, staff, and local community. We ask for your healing hand and never-ending love to keep us all safe and protected as we enjoy this beautiful campus you have so richly blessed us with. In Jesus name. Amen.
Be sure to wish a Happy Birthday to our Kroc Krew colleagues:
