Each week, members of the Kroc Center and Kroc Church submit a number of requests for prayer. We welcome these from everyone in our community, and encourage all our Kroc Krew to lift up these requests in your own way. Don’t forget that you are always welcome to attend devotions on Tuesday mornings at 9am in the Administration Foyer; if you have a prayer request to share, you can post it on the board in the lobby, use the online form, or contact a member of the Kroc Church team.

NEW! We’re featuring a “Note from the Pastor” and Bible verse in the First Five each week from Captain Jack Huffman and the Kroc Church team. If you ever want to hear more about these topics, join us for Kroc Church Sunday mornings at 10am.

“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:3-7 NIV

John’s words call us into a deeper, more intimate fellowship—not just with one another, but with God Himself. As a church family, we are encouraged to live openly and honestly, walking in His light. When we do so, our relationships with each other become a reflection of His grace and love, and we experience the joy of true connection.

This light is a place where we can bring our whole selves, knowing that we are covered by His forgiveness and love. It is here, in the light of Christ, that we find freedom from our past and a renewed purpose for our future.

Let us, then, choose to walk in His light, staying close to Him and to each other, allowing His love to shine through our lives.

May we be encouraged to support, forgive, and uplift one another, knowing that the bond we share in Christ is strengthened by our willingness to live in the truth. As we continue in faith together, I pray  that we will each feel His presence more deeply, experience His love more fully, and walk in fellowship as one body, united in Christ.
