Christ at the Center – Hebrews 9:1-12

The old covenant, with its earthly sanctuary and repeated sacrifices, was only a shadow of what was to come. The high priest entered the Most Holy Place once a year, but these rituals could never truly cleanse of our sin or provide full access to God. They were merely a place holder for the sinner until the one and only true sacrifice was made in Christ.

Jesus, our great High Priest, entered not an earthly tabernacle but the very presence of God, offering His own blood for our eternal redemption. Unlike the temporary sacrifices of the old system, His was complete, securing direct access to the Father. No longer bound by rituals, we are transformed from within by His saving grace.

If Christ is at the center of God’s redemptive plan, He must also be at the center of our lives, for no other sacrifice is needed and no other way is sufficient. In Him, we find cleansing, hope, and the freedom to draw near to God each day. Through His once-for-all sacrifice, Christ has set us free from the law, offering us true freedom in Him. Today, you are encouraged to receive the free gift of salvation and step into God’s perfect plan for your life.
