Mother’s Day at the Kroc: This is a new event we are presenting on Saturday, May 11 from 1-6pm. Want an easy way to spend a special day with your family? Bring them to the Kroc Center! Enjoy open swim, climbing wall, family games, and a pizza dinner. Pre-registration is required. Visit the Welcome Desk or GrKrocCenter.org to sign up.
Youth Councils this Weekend: The Salvation Army of Western Michigan & Northern Indiana will be holding Divisional Youth Councils at the Kroc Center this weekend. This is a gathering for youth groups from all the Corps in our division, coming from as far away as Sault Ste. Marie. Most of their activities will be taking place in the WPAC and Fireside Hall, but the group will be using recreation areas after-hours on Saturday evening. Please be aware that most of these youth (and many of the adults) have never been to the Kroc Center and don’t know our guidelines — your radical hospitality is greatly appreciated!
Share the Love: Kroc Center members and staff are encouraged to pick up one of our (sort of) new window decals at the Welcome Desk, or see Jon Shaner for one. Feel free to give them to members – they are removable and are great for car windows or bumpers!
GRPS Swim Lessons continue… From Aquatics Manager Jessica Viau: “A big thank you to all the people who have been helping out with our GRPS Swim Lessons, including Bram Roberts, Chris Reinsma, Matt Aho, Brent Wilcoxson, Tabi Baller, Kristin Hoin, Chel’le Venegar, and many more!” This upcoming week is the second-to-last week of the GRPS program, and the Aquatics Department continues to do an amazing job with these kids.
Kroc Krew Parking Announcement: Staff parking may resume in the South (side) parking lot, effective immediately. Thank you all for helping us serve our members and guests well this past month as we worked through a number of large events.
