First 5 – Week of April 18, 2022

NEW REC GUIDE: The Spring Rec Guide is now available at the Welcome Desk and online at GrKrocCenter.org. Below are some changes you should make note of:

    • The pool and hot tub are now closed Monday evenings for swim lessons.
    • The gym has much more open gym time, eliminating the need for members to register in CA for most gym-related activities.
    • The fitness schedule has new classes, so be sure to review that schedule in case members have questions.

PROGRAM SESSION REMINDERS:  Spring programs start this week! Many programs are at capacity, so lots of opportunities for Green Dot Moments!  The Summer 1 program guide will be available this week and registration opens next Monday, April 25.

CAMP KROC STAFF DISCOUNT:  We will again be offering a 50% staff discount for Camp Kroc this summer! In order to use this discount, you will need to email Kayla Welch with your full name (as it appears in Club Automation) as well as the children that will be using the discount. She will then apply the discount code to your account so you can register for camp, and the adjusted price should automatically appear at checkout. This discount will only apply to your immediate family members, i.e. your children and dependents as linked to your account in Club Automation. This discount will not be active until May 1st when scholarships are also awarded, so that all members have ample time to register for available camp space. Note that the discount does not apply to before/after care, junior counselors, or specialty camps.

AYSO BEGINS: AYSO has officially started! We have about 125 kids this spring across 18 teams from ages 4-12. Our outdoor campus will be busy on Monday evenings, Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings. Please help welcome these families and provide our usual Green Dot level of customer service!

REMINDERS OF THE WEEK: Here are some of the topics you can expect to be covered at daily morning and afternoon huddle meetings…

    • CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUS: Key #3 – Efficiency
    • EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS: Medical care for employees
    • CORE VALUE: We value a thriving community. The Kroc Center cultivates a sense of place that bonds people together and makes our whole neighborhood stronger.

OPEN POSITIONS: Visit the Central Territory’s ADP Recruitment system for all job postings and to submit applications online. We appreciate you sharing opportunities with friends and family! Current openings include: Welcome Desk Lead; Swim Instructor; Group Exercise Instructor; Personal Trainer; Aquatics Lead; Lifeguard; Day Camp Counselor; Child Watch Attendant; Human Resources Generalist.

Send an email to RJ Kroc if you see someone going above and beyond for our guests! Here are some examples observed recently:
