NATIONAL NIGHT OUT / STORYTIME IN THE PARK: The Kroc is happy to be the sponsoring volunteer organization for this week’s Storytime in the Park at Garfield Park on Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00pm. Prior to that from 5-6pm, the Garfield Park Neighborhoods Association is hosting a National Night Out open house for local organizations. Be sure to tell friends to stop by and learn about all the great things happening in our community!
TRAININGS THIS WEEK: There is a Kroc 101 and Customer Service training session scheduled for Tuesday, August 2 from 4-6pm in the Admin Conference Room. Please speak with your supervisor if you are unsure whether you should attend.
AYSO REGISTRATION: Registration will close soon for the fall season of AYSO soccer. If you know anyone interested in playing, make sure they visit AYSO1634.org by August 14 to make sure they get a spot!
BACKYARD BBQ: The last Backyard BBQ of the summer will be Thursday, August 18th from 12-1pm. Thanks to our friends on the EAT Committee for organizing these summer events.

- From a recent program survey: “We were so grateful to have Ms. Vicky for swim. Calvin is an anxious child and I miscalculated how he would do getting back to swim lessons. Vicky was so patient with him and helped get us in touch with the right people to get him set up for private lessons. We are just so grateful for the Kroc Center!”
- Albert Montiel and Eddie Acker fixing the pool during off hours Sunday after the storm-related power outage caused the water level to drop.
