NEW SCHEDULES: This is the first week of the new Fall 2 program session and drop-in schedule. There are new classes, plus the return of Toddler Time on Wednesdays (see below), so please familiarize yourself with the new schedule. The Winter 1 program guides are now available and registration will open on Monday, November 20.
TODDLER TIME IS BACK!: Long-time Kroc Krew members may recall that we used to offer a special ‘Toddler Tuesday’ program with drop-in activities for our youngest guests. We are bringing it back starting with the Fall 2 session, only on Wednesday mornings this time. We’ll have special activities in the gymnasium, aquatics center, and classrooms for preschool-aged children and their caregivers. Please see the new Drop-In Recreation Guide for details.
UPCOMING RATE INCREASES: For the first time since 2017, we will be increasing the cost of our standard adult membership, starting with the December 1 payment. The base monthly rate will increase from $40 to $45, prorated for members on the income-based sliding scale. The base senior (ages 65+) rate will increase from $30 to $32. This is still far less than the cost of the comparable memberships at nearby facilities like the GR YMCA. Please refer any questions to the membership department.
COST OF LIVING WAGE INCREASES: Our Great Lakes Division headquarters has informed us that all employees hired prior to September 30, 2023 will be receiving a 3% cost of living adjustment, retroactive to October 1. Most Kroc Krew members should have seen that increase in their November 3 deposit. There is a lot involved in making this happen across hundreds of employees, some of whom work multiple positions… as a result, the retroactive pay and the increased rates for any transfer codes you have in ADP may not appear in your check until November 17. KROC KREW UPCOMING EVENTS: Our annual Kroc Krew Thanksgiving potluck will be held on Thursday, November 16 at noon, with extra food made available for the evening shift as well. Be sure to sign up to bring a dish at this link!
The Kroc Krew Christmas extravaganza will be held on Saturday, December 2. Watch for more information coming from the EAT committee soon.

- Mary S commented that she would not have been able to do the sweet dancing moves that she demonstrated during class the other day without the help of our wonderful water ex instructors.
- Fitness instructors adding holiday-themed components to their group exercise classes.

Each week, members of the Kroc Center and Kroc Church submit a number of requests for prayer. We welcome these from everyone in our community, and encourage all our Kroc Krew to lift up these requests in your own way. Don’t forget that you are always welcome to attend devotions on Tuesday mornings at 9am (currently in the Music Room); if you have a prayer request to share, you can post it on the board in the lobby, use the online form, or contact a member of the Kroc Church team.
